Community Gardens and/or Food Swapping Groups

Care For Hedland Community Garden serves as a platform to teach and inspire individuals to cultivate their own gardens and acquire valuable skills through free workshops.

The Forage Community Garden is open to the public every day, and hosts regular gatherings whereby community members meet to tend to the garden.

Established in 2017, the Goomalling Community Garden is a volunteer run, permaculture garden that is open to the public.

The Rainbow Coast Neighbourhood Centre is an organisation that undertakes a range of place-based, local initiatives including the Community Garden, Swap and Share and the Garden Grubs Program.

This initiative incorporates a community garden, and dry food hampers which are provided to community members in need.
